I FINALLY got my book in the mail for class, its only two weeks late, but at least I can now start getting my work done.

My doctor is so impressed with my improvement he got me a smaller brace (I get it on friday) and that I can also start going back to the gym.

the THUNDER was OUTSTANDING. 'nuff said mmmmmmm but it also renewed my faith in maybe wanting to date again. we'll see but i'm not going to push the subject.

Secondly, I get to see a bunch of hot half naked male strippers. Oh and I get steak. Delicious in all ways of the word.

Third, I think i'm a drunk sleezy guy magnet. Or my car is. Either way in the matter of one week, I have managed to have more drunk nasty guys try to pick me up than I have this entire year. Screw dating anyway, I'm done with it, over it, through with it. I have better things to do with my time.

Fourth, I finished my first class for school and now i'm starting my next two--criminal invest and technical writing (aka police report writing and such).

Fifth, I placed first in my class at the car show.

And last but not least, my leg is healing really well, but they told me absolutely no running until october :(

three years too late

I got an email today about an internship....for the FBI. Now why is it that these things never came along while I was a resident of a college, but now when I have a full time job to tend to? Its a summer long program in DC that you basically get paired up with an agent and learn the ins and outs of the program. I really wish I could take it. I really do.

Here are some possibilities that I am however, going to look into for careers.

As soon as I can be cleared for physical activity again, I'm putting my application in every place I can possibly go.

I'm able to walk......sorta

Yesterday I was finally able to drive. However, with the few things that I had to do, I was so worn out that I passed out when I got home. Wearing the brace and walking just takes up so much of my energy that I can only go for so long then I just pass out from exhaustion. Learning how to walk again is not an easy task. I have rehab all week, then I start back to work. Hopefully they will be able to teach me some tactics on how to walk a little more normally with the brace locked. It's not easy but at least I'm on my feet again. I have also managed to get myself completely off of the pain medication. I have not taken any in about five days. I don't want to go back to work and feel the need to take pain meds. It's illegal with my job and it would make me too sleepy to drive home.

Other than that, no new news.

once again

I'm finally getting back up on my feet. Well, its with a brace, but i'm at least able to walk (kinda) without the crutches. However, they told me I am going to be in a brace for the next few months. That is going to suck.

Not much else going on, although today is Independence Day. I really want to see the fireworks tonight. They are going to have it at the local ball field here and my mom is going, but shes riding her bike with my uncle and his girlfriend. So basically, that means I'll be here alone.

At least I'll hopefully, probably, be able to go back to work next weekend.

goin back to the south

I did a lot of traveling in the past few years. Much of it was in the southern part of this country. I loved it, every single minute of it. Right now I have a few days off in September to go to Vegas. But I also have a few other days off too. I think I'm going to book my trip to Tupelo, Mississippi. Tiff and I have lots of wedding planning to do!

I have been staring at the same four walls for two weeks now. Two weeks ago today I had surgery and I have not been home since. My mom wants me to stay at her house until they give me the ok to go up and down stairs. Until then, here I am, sitting in the same seat I sit in everyday, watching tv, blogging, and playing online. I have exercises from the doctor that I'm supposed to do, and I have been doing them, but that only takes up a few minutes. I really want to go outside. Actually, I really want to see the fireworks on Friday. I just don't think its going to happen.

In other news, I'm really hungry. I have the biggest craving for a cheeseburger and I don't know why. Oh well, back to the lazy.

Oh and I really need a back massage. I think I'm going to go to the spa when I'm better.
